Fr David Lacy

Father David joined us at Holy Trinity in 2013 after 5 years at St Francis in Bedworth.

In the latest parish annual report Father David wrote,

Thank you for the welcome to the parish last year, after 5 years at St Francis Bedworth, it is a little different to be in the role of assistant, but I am finding plenty to do in this busy parish, helping Fr Michael in the Good Hope hospital and with visits to the sick and housebound.

Like all of us I do have a history: after ordination in 1972 and 9 yeras in 3 different parishes, I was sent to serve as a chaplain in Royal Navy for 17 years, returning in to the Diocese in 2001. Since then Holy Trinity is my third postin. I expect that you will be able to hear about those memories when you have the time to listen to them. Meanwhile I hope to be able to contribute to the life of the parish and work with you to evangelise and give pastoral care where and when I can.  I was very impressed with all the good work that is going on in the parish. So well done to everyone for all the gifts you offer for the good of the community.
