Dear Parishioners and Friends,

During this time of national observance of being alert to the spread of infection, there is no public Mass anywhere in our Diocese, or indeed across the country. Sadly, therefore, until further notice, our Church must remain closed.
There will be Mass celebrated in our Church each day for your intentions. This will be behind closed doors.

We are very grateful for the installation of a live stream facility to enable our parishioners, people from across the Archdiocese and visitors near and far, to participate as best they can in the acts of worship that will now lead us through the latter stages of Lent to the Passion of Our Lord in Holy Week and the Joy of the Resurrection.

Clearly the reception of Holy Communion is not possible; but we may receive the Lord’s Body and Blood in an act of Spiritual Communion by reciting the following prayer.
Prayer Spiritual Communion – Prayer of St Alphonsus

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar.
I love you above all things and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my soul so that I may unite myself wholly to you now and forever.
